WOW...
That is probably the meanest thing you've ever said to me, and ya know what, you're exactly right!!!  It IS up to me, and I don't have to settle (nor can I afford to settle) for my old habits.  I've been FIRMLY back on track for about a week now and I wonder why I ever settled for how crappy I felt while I was eating sugar!  I feel so alert, so alive, so refreshed!  I have support in my life now (no, not Leah...there are 3 co-workers who are changing their eating habits with me).

MY GOALS:
1) To regain enough control of my life and eating habits to once again be 235lbs like I was at the end of the show.
THEN, 2) To regain enough control of my life and eating habits to once again be 204lbs like I was just before I lost control of myself.  Ya know something, I realized that I was scared to be below 200lbs.  That meant that if I ever WERE to go above 200 again, it would be SO MUCH MORE devistating than if I had not gone below 200 to begin with.  It's a whole other classification -- there's the fit people, then there's the "over 200's".  You know what I mean?
AND THEN, 3) To finally break below 200lbs while bursting through any plateaus I may have encounterd.
FINALLY, 4) To reach my goal of 185lbs with the right BMI and perfect health.

HOMEMADE EGG NOG RECIPE ("Bag Nog")

~ 6 large free range eggs
~ 2 cups whole milk
~ 1/3 cup sugar
~ 1/2 cup light rum
~ 1 tsp pure vanilla
~ nutmeg to taste

DIRECTIONS:  Crack the eggs and wish them in a pan over med-low heat.  Add milk and sugar and stir until it thickens (enough to cover a wooden spoon).  Put pan in bowl of ice water so it starts to cool but keep stirring.  Add vanilla and rum.  Cover and chill.  Serve in pitcher topped with nutmeg to taste.

"MOTHER PHEASANT PLUCKER"

"I'm a mother pheasant plucker.
I pluck mother pheasants.
I'm the most pleasant mother pheasant plucker to ever pluck a mother pheasant.

"I'm not the pheasant plucker.
I'm the pheasant plucker's mate.
I'm only plucking mother pheasants cause the pheasant plucker's late.

"I'm not the pheasant plucker.
I'm the pheasant plucker's wife.
I've been plucking mother pheasants my whole pheasant plucking life!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
UPDATE: Found and extra verse!!
"I'm not the pheasant plucker,
I'm the pheasant plucker's son.
I'm only plucking pheasants 'til the pheasant plucker comes."
And try this other 'dangerous' tongue twister!!
"I'm not the fig plucker,
Nor the fig pluckers' son,
But I'll pluck figs 'til the fig plucker comes."
My Blogs...
Hi there JJ & Kathleen,
If you ever want to keep track of my food diaries, weigh-ins, or workouts, I have added a feature to my personal website so that anyone can view them! I do it mostly so that Joe and Leah can check up on me and make me submit my food diaries each day, but it wouldn't hurt to have you two reading them too!
Here are the URL's:
FOOD DIARIES - http://www.michaelparisi.net/food (also has workout info for now)
WEIGH-INS - http://www.michaelparisi.net/weight
And coming soon:
WORKOUTS - http://www.michaelparisi.net/workout (right now the workout info is in the food section)
This feature is called a "blog" (short for "web-log"). It allows you (or anyone else) to post comments on my daily entries, sort of like a public chat forum you'd see on other sites. Each time I submit an entry by email, it will be available to read online within seconds!!
Eventually, you'll be able to link to these pages from my main page (http://www.michaelparisi.net) but you'll have to use the direct links above since my computer is still down. JJ, this will NOT replace my daily emails to you, but it is a nice place to go if you want to see older diaries that you may have already deleted. I will start retroactively adding entries when i have free time, but from now on I'll be sending new stuff there in adddition to sending them to you!
